BELINDA SHAW: PRODUCER, WRITER, EDITOR
My early career began in advertising having worked in Client Services at JWT and Grey Advertising, providing me with a sound marketing and communications background.
We started our own production company, Evergreen Pictures, in the mid 90’s focusing on environmental and wildlife programmes for local and international producers. Stories we have covered include documenting Great White Sharks, Southern Right Whales, the plight of the African Penguin, investigative reporting on controversial issues such as development in nature areas, corruption in the Fisheries sector and the dirty business behind Perlemoen Poaching to name a few. Many of our programmes have achieved local and international awards.
Black Vanilla Productions evolved out of Evergreen Pictures to include producing for the Corporate market where we have enjoyed a long, loyal and mutually rewarding relationship with our clients.
Over the last 15 years I have produced, scripted, and edited well over 300 documentaries and corporate video programmes, bringing a wealth of experience and understanding in producing quality video productions that make a difference.
