Who we are.
Black Vanilla Productions is a service-focused boutique television and video production company. We have been producing high quality video productions for our clients in both the broadcast and corporate worlds for almost 20 years. We may have won many awards and accolades but what really gives us a charge is delivering an exceptional product, providing exceptional service and exceeding our Client’s expectations at every level. We understand deadlines. We operate seven days a week, 24 hours a day if necessary.
Our Corporate clients include many large and small organisations for whom we have conceptualised, project managed and produced video centred communication campaigns to meet a variety of needs - product launches, staff incentive programmes, staff brand emersion programmes, HR initiatives, CSI projects, Safety & Training projects, Chairman’s webcasts and a host of other internal communications.
We have scripted and produced well over 200 broadcast documentaries covering a fascinating range of human and environmental issues in Southern Africa from exploring the family relationships within Southern Right Whales, to understanding the life-cyle of Great White Sharks. We have covered the seemingly irreversible journey of the African Penguin towards extinction, corrupt development practices within highly sensitive natural areas, conservation of vital wetlands, the down and dirty behind perlemoen poaching and the endless controversies surrounding the management of our fisheries.
Our international Client base for whom we supply various production services such a videographers and crew, equipment and logistical support include Turner Sports, CNN News, CNN Arts Club, MTV, Carlton Food Network, Discovery, BBC World, 2nd camera for "60 Minutes USA”, Grenada Television, ITN News, APP Broadcast - UK and Welsh Television.
We offer a full and comprehensive service from conceptual development through to scripting, production crew, supply of full High Definition professional cameras, lighting, sound and studio hire. We have our own editing studios, offer full sound mix facilities through our key partners. We also offer encoding of masters to any format required and run a full DVD authoring and duplicating facility.
Our expertise is in providing quality video production across all new digital media and packaged for all new digital platforms.
